Why would you want to live in a body that is overweight, unhealthy, and uncomfortable? Obesity affects more than one-third of adults and 17 percent of youth in the United States, which means that 78 million adults and 12 million children are obese. There are many causes of obesity in the United States right now, and has continued to progress over the years. Some of the most common causes are genetics, unhealthy diets, prenatal and postnatal influences, too much television, too little sleep, not enough activity and exercise, and our toxic environment. We all just need to be more aware of what we are doing in our everyday life, how much activity we are getting, what we should and should not be eating, how much time we spend on our electronics etc. Living a healthier life comes with so many benefits that will reward you and your life in an encouraging way.
